Breath-Centered Beginner Yoga – Practice 1

This 50-minute class is the first full-length session in the Breath-Centered Foundations Series—a beginner-friendly practice designed to help you move with your breath, calm your mind, and build a steady, sustainable approach to yoga.

In this session, you’ll apply key principles from earlier tutorials—especially Ujjayi breathing and mindful, breath-led movement. You’ll be guided through accessible postures that stretch, strengthen, and ground the body while encouraging presence and ease.

This class is ideal for:

  • Newer students

  • Anyone returning to yoga

  • Those looking to reconnect with breath-centered practice

  • A gentle but focused morning or evening session

What you’ll need:

  • A yoga mat

  • Optional: two blocks or a stack of books of equal height

Practice includes:

  • Grounding breath and centering

  • Modified sun salutations

  • Standing and balancing poses

  • A gentle twist and hip-opening sequence

  • A steady breath rhythm throughout

  • A 5-minute minimally guided savasana

Let your breath lead the way.

Thank you for practicing.
