An immersive learning experience intended for those looking to deepen their personal yoga practice and prepare those who eventually choose to follow the path of teaching. This course is made up of weekend modules - Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday all day and several teaching feedback sessions outside of these weekends throughout the program. Additionally, our apprenticeship allows you to gain assisting experience and to refine your observation skills during studio classes. This course is given with deep devotion, care and personal attention between teacher and students.

This is a college level (HBO) course and includes over 200 contact hours between student and teachers. Half of these hours are dedicated to practice teaching and assisting, this does not include non-contact hours for self-study and assignments. Additionally, The Breathing Space provides ongoing mentoring after course completion.

Completion of this course and passing both written and practical examinations qualifies you to receive a Certificate of Completion. Recommendation to teach is included as an addendum to your certification and is determined on a case-by-case basis upon completion of the program.
